Natural History Museum

There are three stunning spaces available for hire at the Natural History Museum, all spectacular and unique in their own right. 

The first is the Central Hall, heart of the Museum and one of London’s largest and most flexible venues, the Central Hall is an example of Victorian architecture at its most magnificent. You can dine beneath the spectacular painted ceilings alongside a full-size Diplodocus dinosaur skeleton cast. 

The second is the Earth Hall, where striking beams of light climb the 18-metre high atrium walls and dinner is served underneath the magnificent huge globe. Guests can take an escalator ride through Earth’s crust to the very centre of our planet and marvel at the sparkling array of gemstones in Earth’s Treasury.

The third and final is the Darwin Centre, a contemporary and light filled atrium, featuring a centrepiece 65 metre-long, eight-storey concrete cocoon, home to more than 17 million entomology specimens and three million botany specimens. The stunning glass wall opens onto a peaceful garden which offers guests a tranquil oasis and features a large amphitheatre, providing a focal point for entertainment or a relaxed seating area with a cocktail bar.

Science Museum

Innovative, interactive and inspirational, the Science Museum is home to more than 12,000 objects exploring the past, present and future of human ingenuity. It also provides a wealth of contrasting spaces for corporate and private events.

Dedicated conference facilities include the elegant Director’s Suite accommodating up to 100 delegates. The 400-seat IMAX theatre offers an immersive experience for awards presentations, product launches, AGM’s or large-scale conferences.

The Wellcome Wing is the most contemporary space, with award-winning architecture and four galleries suspended in front of an immense blue glass wall, creating a breathtaking setting for evening receptions or dinners.

Other favourite galleries include Making the Modern World where up to 400 guests can dine alongside icons such as Stephenson’s Rocket. In the Flight gallery, guests are surrounded by the icons of aviation history, while the Energy Hall provides a dramatic setting with the eight-metre high Energy Ring which can display personalised messages.

Abbey Road Studios

Unique Events at a Unique Location

London’s Abbey Road Studios is the most famous recording studio complex in the world. With a musical heritage that spans over 80 years of iconic artists recording in their remarkable rooms, it is also a unique and exclusive venue.

Abbey Road’s three flexible studio spaces range in capacity from 40 to 395, and offer guests the once in a lifetime opportunity to host events in the very rooms where legends have recorded and performed. Imagine, for example, a champagne reception in the room where The Beatles recorded 190 of their classic songs, or a 250 guest seated dinner in the stunning studio where the soundtracks for Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars were recorded.

Studios One, Two and Three are suitable for a variety of events, including live performances, product launches, award ceremonies, conferences and dinners, as well as unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, such as our bespoke Record a Song days .

Not open to the general public and only available for a very limited number of events each year, Abbey Road is incredibly exclusive. This, along with the studios’ unparalleled musical history makes for truly unique and unforgettable events.

Banqueting House

Specially created for spectacle and entertaining in 1622, the Banqueting House is the only remaining part of the great Palace of Whitehall and remains as versatile and inspiring an event space as ever.

Spacious enough to accommodate large numbers, the light and quiet Main Hall boasts wonderful acoustics with magnificent pillars soaring towards one of the world’s great masterpieces: Rubens’ irreplaceable ceiling.

The intimate atmosphere of the vaulted Undercroft offers guests a pleasant complement to the soaring, majestic Main Hall. Once enjoyed as a drinking den by King James I and his riotous, party-loving courtiers, it still serves as a wonderful space for bar service, cocktail receptions and pre-dinner drinks.

Available for evening entertaining, the Banqueting House can accommodate dinner dances for up to 300 guests, drinks receptions for up to 450 guests and wedding ceremonies for up to 150 guests.

Hampton Court Palace

Once home to some of England's most famous royalty - notably Henry VIII - Hampton Court Palace is an unforgettable venue.

Situated along the banks of the River Thames, It has echoed with the sound of celebrations and royal feasting for almost 500 years and today it still provides stunning rooms for entertaining. Every room is dripping in history, with myriad stories to tell and original features still in fine condition.  

The splendour of Henry VIII’s Great Hall acts as inspiration on a grand scale. Originally a dining room for members of the King’s Court, the Great Hall makes an impressive setting for prestigious banquets and receptions, concerts and award dinners. A perfect way to finish the evening is to dance, post banquet in the Undercroft, which was Henry VIII’s beer cellar.

As well as the splendour of the Palace, the surrounding grounds offer a fantastic variety of options to hold bespoke events, from a small dinner in William II’s Kings Eating Room overlooking the Privy Garden; the secluded Garden Room perfect for wedding receptions and conferences; and the beautiful Banqueting House on the edge of the river Thames.

Victoria and Albert Museum

The V&A is the world's greatest museum for arts and design. A Victorian architectural treasure house teeming with collections of fabulous scope and diversity and including a rolling programme of sell-out exhibitions available for private view. With a number of diverse galleries for dinners, receptions and award ceremonies the V&A is full of artworks from antiquity to the present day and also has the added attraction of the John Madjeski Garden for outdoor entertaining.

Tower of London

For over 900 years the Tower has dominated the city of London. Impress your guests with this unique and memorable setting for your event.

The New Armouries is available for daytime hire. Once the Tower closes its doors to the public 6 very special venues come to life.  The Martin Tower is an intimate venue where guests can dine amongst 12,000 diamonds.  The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers displays regimental colours and a fine array of silverware.  The iconic White Tower houses an exhibition of arms and armour worn by monarchs since Henry VIII.  The New Armouries offers a larger dining space whilst the Medieval Palace has access onto an outside wall walk for drinks during the summer months.  

A private viewing of the Crown Jewels can be experienced either before the Tower opens or after it closes and can be combined with a reception or dinner elsewhere in the Tower.

Roundhouse

The Roundhouse has a heritage of legendary performances and has held some of the most dazzling events in London, such as the Mercury Music Prize, BT Digital Music Awards, BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo Car Launch, Classic Rock Awards, and the Event Awards.

Experts in their field, Payne & Gunter have a proven track record of delivering a first class service at a range of large scale high profile events at the Roundhouse including BT Digital Music Awards and City & Guild Awards.

Now Grade II* listed the Roundhouse began life in 1846 as a steam engine repair shed. Following a £30m redevelopment campaign, it reopened in 2006 and is now a unique and innovative London landmark. Ideal for both corporate and private events – product launches, parties, receptions, awards ceremonies, gala dinners, meetings and performances.

All income generated from corporate and private events fund the Roundhouse Trust; an innovative in-house charity that provides ‘space to create’ for young people. 

When hosting an event at the Roundhouse, clients can benefit from CSR opportunities to support and collaborate with the work taking place in the Roundhouse Studios.

Trinity House

 An historical Venue in The City of London, is The Headquarters of The General Lighthouse Authority for England, Wales, The Channel Islands and Gibraltar.

Trinity House designed by Samuel Wyatt and built in 1796 is set in a tranquil City location overlooking Trinity Square and The Tower of London.

Trinity House originated as a Guild of Pilots in Deptford in the 14th. Century, operating Lighthouses from 1566, and moving into The City in 1660, finally onto Tower Hill in 1796. The present house was rebuilt in 1953.

Trinity House has five rooms in a versatile town house environment. Shipwrights models, Royal paintings, a fine painted ceiling and unique carpet along with The Bell from the Royal Yacht Britannia assure a very special Maritime atmosphere. The House is suitable for lunches, dinners board meetings, receptions and wedding receptions, for up to 130 guests.

The House accommodates its guests in elegant comfort. The rooms are air conditioned and south facing ensuring lots of natural daylight. The entrance is 70 metres from Tower Hill tube station. There are disabled facilities and limited parking. There is a list of well respected Caterers and Service providers that know and enjoy operating within The House.

SEA LIFE London Aquarium

The SEA LIFE London Aquarium’s multi-million pound refurbishment has created an award winning venue voted best new launch of a venue by Event Magazine. The Aquarium has been planned with you, the Event organiser in mind; with three fully themed areas the venue is ideal for networking events to Awards Dinners, with integrated audio, furniture and lighting effects. The Aquarium is located next to the London Eye, which can be incorporated into your drinks reception, and just opposite Big Ben.

Boiler House

The Boiler House is a top quality semi-permanent structure inside one of the most iconic landmark building in the world.

It has a dramatic entrance; transparent gable-end roof and end wall and fabulous terrace with post-industrial views.

This exceptional space offers an adaptable setting for a diverse range of events including product launches, award ceremonies, private functions, fashion shows, charity balls, screenings, receptions, exhibitions and banqueting.

Battersea Power Station has the flexibility of building larger structures for hosting bigger scale events and projection advertising.

London Dungeon

The BRAND NEW London Dungeon at County Hall London is a fully themed fun venue with a unique combination of real history, horror and humour.

FIVE

FIVE at Farnborough International is seeing continued growth and is fast becoming the venue of choice for Events Organisers wanting a blank canvas venue where their innovative ideas can really take shape.

‘Big is beautiful’

Big space is a must for big events but superior flexibility means larger scale venues can often be the perfect solution for events of all sizes. FIVE is a classic example offering 3,150 sqm of clear-span interior space which can accommodate 3,000 people in a conference set-up. Eltham Palace

45 Millbank

Middle Temple

Situated in the heart of London down cobbled streets with atmospheric gas lighting, Middle Temple boasts one of the finest Elizabethan Halls in the country. Stationers\' Hall and Garden

Stationers’ Hall is a Grade I listed building, close to St Paul's Cathedral. It is one of the few ancient Livery Halls remaining in the City of London. Completed in 1673 after the Great Fire of London, the Hall's suite of three imposing, inter-linking rooms makes it one of the most sought after venues in the City for Corporate events and private functions. The secluded garden is a draw during the warmer months for corporate entertaining and the warmth of the Hall with its stained glass windows is the perfect setting for Christmas dinners.
