Another year’s voyage for Trinity House and Payne and Gunter
This annual two day event has been catered for by Payne and Gunter for over 15 years and comprises a formal dinner and lunch, which this year took place on Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th June. Guests included the attendance of the The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, The Duke of York and other members of the court of Trinity House.
Trinity House is the General Lighthouse Authority for England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar, responsible for a range of general aids to navigation, 'signs of the sea', from lighthouses to radar beacons. It is also a major Maritime Charity and its Master since 1969 has been The Duke of Edinburgh.
The Deputy Master commented “…well done to all your team for superb service, food and support throughout, and for your close attention to detail. It was highly successful.”
